Birds of Prey’s Ashley Scott Joins Crisis on Infinite Earths

Tom Welling and Erica Durance of Smallville, Burt Ward and Kevin Conroy of Batman fame, John Wesley Shipp of The Flash… and now, even more Crisis on Infinite Earths news has come today, courtesy of TVLine, and that news is that Ashley Scott, who played the Huntress on The WB’s Birds of Prey is joining The CW crossover, reprising her role from the classic series.

Birds of Prey was a short-lived series that aired in 2002 on The WB and Scott’s character Helena Wayne was the daughter of Batman and Catwoman on that world. We even had a fan site for it in our network of websites. Interestingly, the series also starred Rachel Skarsten who we will be seeing in Batwoman; we asked her, too, if she’d like a Birds of Prey reunion in an interview you can find here.

This crossover, which begins in December on The CW, will feature many characters we never thought we’d see again on TV… and considering Scott’s run on Birds of Prey was only for 13 episodes, this will be a treat.
