Zachary Quinto returns to NBC as Dr. Oliver Wolf on a new series called Brilliant Minds. The first episode of the show airs tonight (September 23) and is titled, predictably enough, “Pilot.” Here’s how it’s described; a gallery of photos can be found below.
Dr. Oliver Wolf reluctantly accepts a job at Bronx General Hospital where he’s forced to work with a team of interns as they treat a mother who can no longer recognize her children. TV-14

Inspired by the extraordinary life and work of world-famous author and physician Oliver Sacks, “Brilliant Minds” follows a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier – the human mind – while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
The cast includes Zachary Quinto, Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears, and Donna Murphy. Andre DeShields guest stars as Harold.
Michael Grassi serves as creator, writer and executive producer. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Melissa Aouate, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis, and Shefali Malhoutra also executive produce.
