In a new interview with Collider, DC Entertainment’s Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns talked about many things related to the DC Comics empire, and among other things, he spoke of the success of The CW’s Arrow and confirms that that could lead to “more DC TV shows.” Most interestingly, in the piece, he confirms that Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg’s Booster Gold pilot, which has been in the works for Syfy for what seems like forever, is still in development:
“Booster Gold TV series: still in development, Andrew Kreisberg is working on it right now,” he said.
In addition to this, Johns confirmed that the chances of seeing Wonder Woman on TV or on the big screen are “very, very good.” Maybe Amazon isn’t dead, either?
Either way, we’d welcome some more DC TV, especially on a network like The CW. Fall 2014, maybe?
KSiteTV Editor-In-Chief Craig Byrne has been writing about TV on the internet since 1995. He is also the author of several published books, including Smallville: The Visual Guide and the show's Official Companions for Seasons 4-7.
