CRAIG: One Chicago remains. But what is Med doing losing Colin Donnell? Grr argh.
SHILO: In the early days of this upfront season, I thought the only way that NBC would be willing to break up the One Chicago lineup is if Law & Order: Hate Crimes were to wriggle its way onto the fall schedule. That scenario would’ve sent one of the Chicagos off to Thursday or Friday and given Hate Crimes a compatible lead-in with heaps of synergy. With Hate Crimes delayed, though, I think NBC holds on to this lineup for at least one more season. There’s no show in development that’s screaming to be put here and I just can’t see them breaking up One Chicago for a veteran drama not in the same universe.
