The official synopsis for the June 30 episode of Beauty and the Beast might not have really announced good things for fans of the “Vincent and Catherine” pairing, also known as “VinCat,” but fortunately, the new photos released from the episode should be more encouraging.
“Operation Fake Date” airs June 30 and here are some photos, featuring Jay Ryan, Kristin Kreuk, and some bonus Austin Basis.

GABE ATTEMPTS TO WIN BACK CAT – Desperate to start over with Cat (Kristin Kreuk), Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) tries to woo her by taking her on a romantic date. However, she has plans of her own regarding how to save Vincent (Jay Ryan) – while also trying to plan Heather’s (guest star Nicole Gale Anderson) bachelorette party. Nina Lisandrello and Austin Basis also star. Fred Gerber directed the episode written by Sherri Cooper and Jennifer Levin (#221).
