The Hollywood Reporter today has revealed some changes are in store for the release dates of several Marvel-related projects coming to Disney+. Here’s what we can look out for:

  • Season 2 of What If?, originally scheduled for early 2023, may premiere around Christmas Day.
  • Loki Season 2 is expected to keep its October 6 premiere date.
  • Hawkeye spinoff Echo, originally dropping the entire season in November, is now rescheduled for January 2024.
  • X-Men ’97, the animated series continuing the show from the 1990s, was originally set for Fall 2023 but sadly is now moved to “Early 2024.”
  • Ironheart, Wonder Man, and Daredevil: Born Again are in various stages of completion but have been halted by the strikes (all of Ironheart is shot, at least). I think we can assume that once the strikes are over we’ll find out more solid dates.
  • And perhaps the biggest news here: Agatha: Coven of Chaos has yet another title – Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. That show will have to wait until Fall 2024 now, where it is expected to lead up to Halloween.

Obviously, the length of the strikes and the AMPTP’s refusal to negotiate will speak more to when we will actually see these projects. You can read THR’s original report here.
