Fall 2020 Broadcast TV Matchups: What’s Airing Against What?

With ABC’s schedule release on Wednesday, each broadcast network has now announced their plans for fall 2020. Some are being more optimistic about the potential for scripted production to begin (relatively) on time, unveiling schedules that are fairly normal considering everything COVID-19 has put the television industry through. However, others opted to fill their schedules with unscripted, sports, and/or low-cost acquisitions in order to make it through this uncertain time.

Regardless of the intention put into every broadcast schedule, we at KSiteTV decided to put together the matchups that will be occurring this fall. Below you’ll find the lineups for Sunday through Friday sorted by hour, meaning that you see what shows will be competing against one another, assuming that the schedules fielded over the past month will be what airs come fall. Unscripted longer than one hour (e.g. The Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars, etc.) are marked as such, while all sports (e.g. footballs both Sunday and Thursday night, WWE SmackDown) are understood to be at least two hours, if not longer. To get a clearer picture of competition, half-hour shows that share an hour (e.g. The Simpsons and Bless the Harts) are listed together.
