With a little blood from Grace and a willingness to face his troubled past, Arthur was able to survive his vision quest and emerge on the other side with a better understanding of himself. Coming face-to-face with his conflicted feelings over women, his self-hatred over leaving Christopher behind, and his guilt over Officer 1031 was never going to be easy, but Arthur’s duty to bringing down Heart aided in his refusal to die. If nothing else, he wants to finish the work of those before him and stop the conglomerate from inflicting any more pain; while Arthur might not have done a whole lot in his life, he could rest easy knowing that there’d be no more innocents forced into decisions and positions they otherwise would’ve never considered as a result of Heart’s evil if he were able to succeed.
On the next episode of Blood Drive, Arthur finds himself at Cronenberg, a utopian safe haven located near The Scar. After wandering for a while with no sign of Grace, he needs the food, water, and shelter that Cronenberg offers if he has any hope of mentally or physically surviving this ordeal; however, what he doesn’t know is that there’s no true escape from danger in a Heart world and that Cronenberg houses a danger that could turn it into his final resting place. For as much as Arthur has toughened up since his journey in the Blood Drive began, his inherent goodness makes him vulnerable to Cronenberg’s temptations without Grace by his side. Her street smarts and natural skepticism would’ve kept Arthur from falling too quickly for this newfound utopia, so without them to keep him from becoming too comfortable and with no way of communicating with her, Arthur and his still-fragile spirit are ripe for the taking. It’s now up to Grace to figure out a way to locate Arthur and hope that the connection the two share is strong enough to overcome whatever voodoo Cronenberg works on him before it’s too late.

How long will it be before Arthur realizes the danger that lurks in Cronenberg? Once he and Grace find their way out of the so-called safe haven, where will they go now that they have no ties to the race? Could Arthur and Grace actually be on the road to living a normal (or as close to normal as you can in a post-Scar world) life?
