Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries premieres on Thursday, October 11…. you can see some of our Vampire Diaries interviews and preview coverage here… but as a special treat, today The CW released a preview video on their TVD Facebook page. As a bonus, they made the video embeddable on other sites, so you can see the not-so-long feature below:

Like we pointed out, it’s not very long – clocking in at only a little more than a minute – but it’s a first bite in what should be an exciting season, as Elena (Nina Dobrev) finds herself on the vampire side.
