Vampire Diaries “1912” Preview Trailer Caps – Featuring Cassidy Freeman!

Tonight after the “All My Children” episode of The Vampire Diaries, The CW aired a new promotional trailer for the show’s return, which sadly isn’t happening until March 15, 2012.

The return episode flashes back a hundred years and is called “1912.” Smallville fans may want to tune in as it also contains the first appearance of Cassidy Freeman as a new character named Sage. We spoke with Julie Plec last week about the character, and you can see what she had to say here.
