NBC has released the official trailer for upcoming comedy The Good Place and in it, we see a young woman having to come face to face with the trail of destruction she left in her wake.

From Mike Schur (Parks & Recreation), The Good Place tells the story of Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell), who enters the afterlife and comes to realize just how much bad she did while on Earth. Determined to not let her past define her, Eleanor decides to embrace the good person she’s capable of being, if for no other reason than her own peace of mind. But will Eleanor be able to shed her old self that easily? Or will she continue slipping into bad habits, even after taking on a new mentor?

In addition to Bell, The Good Place stars Ted Danson (Cheers), William Jackson Harper (The Electric Company), Jameela Jamil (Koko Pop), Manny Jacinto (The Romeo Section), and D’Arcy Carden (The To Do List).

The Good Place is set to air Thursdays at 8:30 this fall. You can check out NBC’s 2016 fall schedule here.

Will you be watching The Good Place? Do you think The Good Place looks like a good companion for Superstore? Is this a concept that you think can work on broadcast television?
