ABC has released the trailer for upcoming P.I. drama Stumptown and in it, we see that no matter how far you might run from your past, everything eventually catches up with you.
Based on the series of graphic novels from Greg Rucka, with Jason Richman (Detroit 1-8-7) developing for television, Stumptown tells the story of Dex (Cobie Smulders), a whip-smart, hard-luck former Military Intelligence officer having a tough time adjusting to a normal life in Portland. Now working as a private investigator in order to make ends meet and continue chasing the adventure she’s so clearly missing, Dex’s complicated past soon catches up to her.
In addition to Smulders, Stumptown stars Michael Ealy (Being Mary Jane), Adrian Martinez (No Activity), Camryn Manheim (Ghost Whisperer), Cole Sibus (Spare Room), and Tantoo Cardinal (Frontier).
