Deadline is reporting that Grimm alum Reggie Lee has joined CBS medical drama pilot Under the Bridge. He’ll be playing Charlie, a neurologist who works at the same practice as his surgeon best friend.
From Rina Mimoun (Mistresses), Under the Bridge follows surgeon Caitlin Lanchaster (Jennifer Morrison) as she deals with a scandal that rocks the private practice she shares with her husband and best friends. If ordered, the series would follow Caitlin as she attempted to mend the fractures in the practice and regain footing in her marriage.
In addition to his role on the NBC drama, Lee’s television credits include Persons Unknown, No Ordinary Family, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He joins a cast that also includes David Ajala (Nightflyers) and Sarayu Blue (I Feel Bad).
Under the Bridge is part of a drama pilot slate for CBS that includes X-Files-esque Evil; legal drama Courthouse; NSA drama Surveillance; backdoor FBI spinoff FBI: Most Wanted; Tommy, a cop drama starring Edie Falco; a procedural-ized Frankenstein; and The Republic of Sarah, about a small New Hampshire town looking to become an independent nation.
