According to The Hollywood Reporter, CW cosmetics dramedy Glamorous has found its lead in Fuller House actor Ben J. Pierce.
In addition to his role on the Netflix comedy, Pierce has appeared on the likes of Reverie, Guidance, and AwesomenessTV. He joins a cast that includes Brooke Shields as former supermodel Madolyn, who runs the company that gives Marco his internship, and Jade Payton as Madolyn’s ambitious clotheshorse Venetia, herself connected to Chicago’s queer community.
Glamorous is part of a development slate for The CW that includes Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene; Jane the Virgin spinoff Jane the Novela; DC-verse spinoff Batwoman; and new takes on Nancy Drew and The Lost Boys.
