Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce Final Season Preview

Bravo has released the first preview for the final season of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.

Season four of the ensemble dramedy concluded earlier this month with Barbara telling Darrell she loved him, Phoebe’s estranged brother Tony reuniting with his sister for the purpose of renting her guest house, Delia learning that she was pregnant, and Jo putting down some serious money to avoid losing her juice bar. Abby, meanwhile, got George into a nursing home and started mending her relationship with Barbara after the launch of Lady Parts drove them apart.

The preview for season five shows a newly sober Frumpkus returning to Jo’s orbit after she finally got settled (and happy) with Albert; Phoebe dealing with an uncomfortable blast from the past; Delia struggling with whether she wants to be a mom and whether Paul is the type of guy she wants to be tied to for the rest of her life; and Abby finally letting go in order to pursue a relationship with Mike, right as Jake returns from Vancouver.

Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce was the show that put Bravo on the scripted map and helped it gain the type of foothold necessary to launch the likes of Odd Mom Out and Imposters. The series was given the unusual three-season renewal post-season two, though all three seasons were quite short due to production issues and creator Marti Noxon’s increased profile.

The six-episode final season of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is set to air next year on Bravo.
