TV Land has released the trailer for Younger season six and in it, we see new dynamics taking shape in and around Millennial.
It wasn’t always a guarantee that Younger would be airing this season on TV Land. Originally, the network’s parent company Viacom wanted to move the series to Paramount Network and start a dramedy night along with a First Wives Club reboot series adaptation and new series Emily in Paris. However, First Wives Club was pushed to fellow Viacom network BET and Emily in Paris only recently cast its lead, making a move less feasible for the series. Younger is coming off its highest rated season yet and having it not only move platforms but be surrounded by no other original scripted content would damage its momentum, possibly beyond repair.
The sixth season of Younger is set to premiere Wednesday, June 12th at 10:00 on TV Land.
