The fourth season of TV Land comedy Younger is set to premiere Wednesday, June 28th at 10:00, TV Land revealed today.
From Darren Starr (Sex and the City), Younger follows 40-something Liza (Sutton Foster), who decides to get back into the workforce after raising her daughter. However, she encounters resistance to the idea of a 40-year-old starting over, so she pretends to be 26 in order to get a job and begin her ascent up the corporate ladder at the publishing company she works for.
In addition to Foster, Younger stars Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire), Debi Mazar (Entourage), Miriam Shor (GCB), Nico Tortorella (Scream 4), and Peter Hermann (Philomena).
Younger is part of an original scripted slate for TV Land that includes Lopez, Nobodies, and Teachers. It was recently revealed that the network would be paring back its scripted slate to focus resources on launching one show per quarter rather than two shows at once, though Younger‘s acclaim, ratings, and buzz should make it safe regardless of what’s happening behind the scenes.
