Deadline.com is reporting that NBC is going forward with a pilot for David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman after all!
This change of heart likely comes after NBC’s more firm executive and ownership transitions of late. Additionally, Kelley’s Harry’s Law performed well in the ratings.
Here’s how the Deadline article describes the project:
The project is described as a reinvention of the iconic D.C. comic in which Wonder Woman — aka Diana Prince — is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.
Guess that means the WonderWomanTV site will live after all! :) Let’s also hope that NBC has Bridget Regan’s phone number handy. (No, not gonna let that one go…)

“Diana Prince — is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.”
uggh. that just sounds terrible.
I’m so with you on Bridget Regan. I watched a few episodes of Legend of the Seeker and all I came away with was, “That brunette is perfect for Wonder Woman.”
But, yeah, the description sounds terrible.
Jeez! Is she going to share cosmos with her three oversexed friends at the end of the day?
Why can’t they let her be military?
And yes. Bridget Regan. Perfect choice! Somebody photoshop that and send it to NBC, stat!
I think that when Wonder Woman was first created in 1941, most Americans felt differently about current wars, then todays popular opinion. That being said I am interested on the new take.
I do hope they forgo the invisible jet as that concept was created for television. She really needs to fly on her own on this one.
bridget reagan has the features and figures for the role
Alexa Davalos should play Wonder Woman, (she played Andromeda in the Clash of the Titans) check it out and you’ll see!! Has it all :)
