Our worries have come true, and The CW has indeed swung the axe at one of the most popular series that we’ve covered here at KSiteTV: Walker will not continue past its current fourth season, as it has been canceled.
“We want to thank the entire cast, crew, writers, directors and producers of WALKER for their hard work and dedication over four incredible seasons,” The CW said in a statement. “We also want to give a special thanks to star and executive producer Jared Padalecki, who has been a member of The CW family for over 20 years and was integral to some of the biggest hits on the network.”
“It’s a tough piece of news to be sure, but we are SO thankful for the #WalkerFamily that has been built, both on set and off,” Jared Padalecki wrote on Instagram. “I will forever smile on the years I got to spend with the cast and crew and studio and network and fandom that made this all possible. Til we ride again.”
We at KSiteTV would like to thank the publicity team at The CW as well as the cast and crew of Walker, from Jared Padalecki on down, who have been so supportive of our content here at the site and who put in 150% week in and week out. We’d also like to thank the fans who continued to share our Walker content throughout the years.
