The CW has already done a lot to promote the October 2 season premiere of The Vampire Diaries. In addition to episodic stills, we’ve had a Season 6 cast gallery… and now, a preview clip from the season opener.
Interestingly, the clip that The CW released was not the one we posted screen captures from a few days ago, featuring Candice Accola as Caroline Forbes and Marguerite MacIntyre as her mother, the Mystic Falls sheriff.
Instead, in this new one, Alaric (Matt Davis) is back to teaching, because apparently being dead for a little while doesn’t affect your credentials in the world of The Vampire Diaries. So enjoy this, and hopefully the Caroline clip will be online soon.
