More than a year after being ordered to series, ABC multi-cam United We Fall has a premiere date. The series will launch Wednesday, July 15th at 8:00 with back-to-back episodes before airing weekly after that.
From Julius Sharpe (Making History), United We Fall follows married parents Jo (Christina Vidal Mitchell) and Bill (Will Sasso) as they attempt to make their own way in the world, mistakes and all. However, Bill’s live-in mother Sandy (Jane Curtin) and Jo’s large extended family will never hesitate to let the two when (and how) they’re screwing up.
In addition to Vidal Mitchell, Sasso, and Curtin, the series stars Guillermo Diaz (Scandal) and Ella Grace Helton (Witching Hour).
United We Fall joins a summer slate for ABC that’s predominantly unscripted, with The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever! subbing in for The Bachelor; a Sunday game show lineup of Celebrity Family Feud, Press Your Luck, and Match Game; docu-series The Genetic Detective, about investigative genetic genealogist CeCe Moore and her work with DNA technology company Parabon NanoLabs; the final season of Agents of SHIELD; and a Thursday lineup of Holey Moley, Don’t, and To Tell the Truth.
