Okay, now this one sounds good!
Arrow Executive Producer Greg Berlanti and The Vampire Diaries’ Julie Plec will be teaming up — again, considering they first worked together a decade ago on Dawson’s Creek — for a pilot revival of the 1970’s British television series The Tomorrow People, according to a report broken by THR. The Tomorrow People has a sci-fi tint –much like the mutants of The X-Men, the characters represent the “next stage of human evolution,” where the characters “break out” in adolescence and start displaying special abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation. (What, no “telephony?”)
Chuck’s Phil Klemmer, who worked with Berlanti on Political Animals, will be writing the pilot, which would aim for a hopeful place on The CW’s Fall 2013 schedule.
The original Tomorrow People aired on ITV in England from 1973-1979. A 1990’s revival ran from 1992-1995.

I’d have reworked it to show there have been previous generations of the next stage of humanity stretching back to ancient times and link it to such things as the Greek Gods revealing that far too many times the ones that went insane had to be taken down and since then there have been several agencies working either to do that or manipulate the next generation of the tomorrow people for their own benefit.
Would make an interesting season if they realise they’re being hunted bu whilst one side actually wants to kill them another wants to dissect them to figure out whats different about them and another just wants to use them the only group they can actually trust turns out to be hunting down those they consider a threat to everybody and have as a climax for a season where you discover they’re actually a descendant of an ancient tomorrow people who stayed behind instead of leaving earth behind…
