The HBO Max series Titans has been confirmed for a November 2022 premiere for Season 4, and it has been announced (via an interview in EW) that Titus Welliver (Bosch) will be playing Lex Luthor in the fourth season.
“He has a very sensitive, thoughtful approach to evil and power. You know what he’s done, what he’s capable of doing, except like many of those people, he’s personable. He doesn’t have a cat on his lap. Yeah. He’s curious, which I think is very interesting about his character. He wants to know about people and what makes them tick, and how they’re different from him. He sees the world through the lens both of his own power and his own inadequacy, and tries to compensate for both,” Titans showrunner Greg Walker told EW when they broke the news.
How we’ll get to see Lex Luthor on Titans and not, I don’t know, the show with “Superman” in the title will remain one of those great mysteries in the world, but here we are. Welliver seems to be a fan, though, and this is not his first comics universe rodeo, having appeared before on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
