AMC has announced a series of scripted original marathons to close out 2016, beginning with a series-long showing of Breaking Bad beginning Monday, December 26th at 12:00 p.m. The critical darling, which closed its much vaunted run with sky high ratings and consecutive Outstanding Drama Series Emmy wins, will run through Thursday, December 29th.

British co-production Humans, centering on a world with anthropomorphic robots called “synths,” will have its entire first season ran beginning Friday, December 30th at 9:00 a.m. Currently airing in the UK, the second season of Humans will begin Monday, February 13th at 10:00.

Fellow AMC sophomore Into the Badlands will also have its first season shown in advance of a second go-around, with its marathon set for Friday, December 30th beginning at 5:00 p.m. From Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville, The Shannara Chronicles), the series follows a warrior and a young boy who journey toward enlightenment.

Finally, ratings juggernaut The Walking Dead will have a three-season marathon beginning Friday, December 30th at 11:00 p.m. Season four through six of the series are set to run through Sunday, January 1st at 1:15 a.m.

You can check out teasers for the second seasons of Humans and Into the Badlands below.

Will you be watching any of AMC’s marathons? Do you wish more cable networks would use the end of the calendar year for catch-up marathons? Would you have liked marathons of Turn: Washington’s Spies and Halt and Catch Fire in addition to the ones already set?
