One of the buzzier pilots that was contending for a spot on the 2013-2014 NBC schedule has been passed over.

The Sixth Gun, based on the Oni Press comic book series by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt, has reportedly not been chosen to go to series for the Fall 2013 schedule.

The supernatural Western, which also involved guns, had talents including LOST’s Carlton Cuse working on it.

In addition, NBC has reportedly decided to not go forward on pilots Hatfields & McCoys, Holding Patterns, Bloodline, The Secret Lives Of Husbands And Wives, The Gates, Brenda Forever, and Joe, Joe and Jane. Freshman series Deception also will not be coming back.

NBC will announce their Fall 2013 schedule on Monday.
