Deadline is reporting that Tony nominee Gideon Glick is set to recur on season two of Comedy Central’s The Other Two. He’ll be playing Cary’s laidback new boyfriend Jess, a guy very capable of rolling with the punches.
From Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider (Saturday Night Live), The Other Two follows Cary (Drew Tarver) and Brooke Duber (Helene Yorke), the adult siblings of recent viral sensation ChaseDreams (Case Walker). The series chronicles Cary and Brooke attempting to find their place in the world while grappling with the sudden fame of their younger brother.
Season one concluded with Chase, still reeling from a disastrous VMA performance, deciding to go to college instead of continuing to pursue music. However, the Dubers aren’t completely out of the entertainment industry woods yet as matriarch Pat (Molly Shannon) has a new talk show resulting from the success of her recent book.
Glick received a Tony Award nomination in 2019 for his performance in Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird, where he played Dill Harris. His television credits include Devious Maids, Man Seeking Woman, and The Detour.
Season two of The Other Two is currently in production, with a premiere likely coming this summer.
