The CW has released images from an episode of The Originals numbered “Episode 102,” which brought forth a little bit of confusion when we created this post, as we assumed it would be from the episode airing October 8.
Per Carina Mackenzie on Twitter, however, this episode, titled “Always And Forever,” is the regular series premiere (not counting the backdoor pilot) and it will air on October 3, following The Vampire Diaries season premiere. It looks pretty Elijah heavy, and it has been said that the first episode back re-tells the story of the pilot, which aired as an episode of The Vampire Diaries, from Elijah’s perspective. Still, fans of Daniel Gillies should eat this gallery up, and there’s a bit of Phoebe Tonkin’s Hayley in here as well.
