It won’t be until late April that audiences will get to see “The Originals,” an episode of The Vampire Diaries designed to be a “backdoor pilot” for a potential spin-off series featuring Klaus and his family of vampires as they take on New Orleans. But, for those of us who can’t wait, the pilot’s director, Chris Grismer, has tweeted two behind the scenes photos from the production.
One shot features fan-favorite Original Elijah (Daniel Gillies), while the other features Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley, not an Original but still no ordinary girl), Gillies, and Joseph Morgan (Klaus).
