SundanceTV has announced premiere dates for scripted drama The Name of the Rose, comedy acquisition Rosehaven, original non-fiction series Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter, and true crime documentary series No One Saw a Thing.

Based on Umberto Eco’s acclaimed novel of the same name, 1327-set The Name of the Rose follows Franciscan monk William of Baskerville (John Turturro) and his novice Adso von Melk (Damian Hardung) as they bear witness to murders at an Italian monastery located in the Alps. The series follows William and Adso as they search for the killer while avoiding nefarious Papal inquisitor Bernard Gui (Rupert Everett).

In addition to Turturro and Hardung, The Name of the Rose stars Michael Emerson (Lost), Sebastian Koch (Homeland), James Cosmo (Game of Thrones), and Richard Sammel (The Strain). It premieres Thursday, May 23rd at 10:00.

The third season of Australian series Rosehaven finds best friends and co-workers Daniel (Tasmanian McGregor) and Emma (co-creator Celia Pacquola) facing big changes in their personal lives and a real estate opportunity that threatens to divide the whole town. It premieres Thursday, June 20th at midnight.

Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter consists of roundtable panels featuring Emmy nominees and stars of buzzed about TV shows discussing everything from their individual projects to their craft and true stories from the business.

The new season, to premiere Sunday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m., will feature appearances from the likes of Marti Noxon, Sam Esmail, Nic Pizzolatto, Bill Hader, Alan Yang, Tanya Saracho, Alan Arkin, Jim Carrey, Don Cheadle, Ted Danson, Patricia Arquette, Danai Gurira, Emilia Clarke, Diego Luna, Stephan James, Richard Madden, Regina Hall, Maya Rudolph and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, among others.

To premiere Wednesday, July 31st at 8:00, No One Saw a Thing examines a small-town murder that took place in front of almost 60 townspeople and how none of the witnesses claim to have seen anything, even to this day. The series is directed and executive produced by acclaimed filmmaker Avi Belkin (Paddle Ball).
