CBS has released the official trailer for upcoming workplace comedy The Great Indoors and in it, we see that true adventure doesn’t necessary have to happen outdoors.
From Mike Gibbons (The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson), The Great Indoors follows Jack (Joel McHale), an adventure reporter for Outdoor Limits magazine who’s spent a majority of his adult life traveling and exploring the far reaches of the globe. However, Jack is in for a shock when the magazine he’s worked for for so long goes web-only and he’s put in charge of a fleet of millennial journalists who don’t know all that much about the outdoors. With a little patience and help from his best friend Eddie, Jack must try to adapt to this new phase of his life while attempting to show his team that the best way to experience the outdoors is to immerse yourself in it, not stare at it from behind a screen.
In addition to McHale, The Great Indoors stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad), Stephen Fry (QI), Christina Ko (BFFs), Shaun Brown (The First Family), Chris Williams (One Big Happy), and Susannah Fielding (I Want My Wife Back).
The Great Indoors is set to air Thursdays at 8:30. You can check out the CBS 2016-2017 schedule here.
