Chances are good that you’ll end up turning on CBS for The Equalizer tonight (November 6) in the 8PM hour, only to find it’s not on! “Why isn’t The Equalizer on tonight,” you may wonder. Well, don’t worry: The Equalizer returns with new episodes Sunday, November 13 with “Blowback” and we’ve got some photos, a description, and a cast list to promote it below.
What happaned? It seems CBS shuffled their schedule a bit. East New York and NCIS: Los Angeles aired an hour earlier than usual on October 30 to make way for a repeat of the Fire Country “Pilot” at 10PM. It’s not surprising that CBS would want to preview their new Friday night firefighter show. And then, for November 6, CBS has moved FBI to a special Sunday night airing, kicking Robyn McCall off our screens once again because of elections on Tuesday! But back to The Equalizer… what’s coming when the show does return? Here’s a preview of the next new episode which we’ll see on November 13. Donal Logue guest stars.
“Blowback” – When a smuggler being detained by the CIA must be transferred quickly to a secure debriefing site, McCall works with Carter Griffin to ensure he arrives unharmed. Also, Dante deals with the possibility of his father being released from prison, on the CBS Original series THE EQUALIZER, Sunday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. Donal Logue guest stars as Colton Fisk, one of the CIA’s most decorated agents.

Scared me there for a minute. I was beginning to feel disappointed, but I’m glad to hear The Equalizer will be back in two weeks.
I’ve lost interest in this show! It needs more action and less drama!
CBS makes me sick. One of the better shows they have in an otherwise putrid list of programs and they keep tampering with it week after week. If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear they were tampering with “The Equalizer” to get it off the air. Wouldn’t surprise me. This network has wrongfully cancelled some pretty good shows in its time to nake room for unentertaining trash not worth wasting your time to watch. As it stands, they only have 2 shows I will indulge, “The Equalizer” & “East New York.” Anything after them…
I know they tamper with it a lot, but it’s one of CBS’ best performers which I think is why they feel they can move it around and a loyal audience will still follow. As it stands the show has already been renewed for another season beyond this one, so I am hopeful CBS truly does like it.
Looking forward to 11/13 when The Equalizer returns. One of my favorite shows to watch on Sunday evening. The Queen is spectacular and the flirty connection between her and Dante is fun to watch. Casting for this show is equally well done.
It’s okay. It’s just a BLACK PEOPLE SHOW. Feel free to take it off the damn air. You people at CBS are jerks. Give us The Equalizer at the same damn time every week and stop the BULLCRAP.
