The Boys Season 4 is headed our way in 2024 from Prime Video, and on Twitter (we refuse to call it X), showrunner Eric Kripke has offered some updates.
“Here’s the update. Editing: done. VFX: halfway done. Music & sound: quarter done. Now that the SAG strike is over (yay), the actors can record additional dialogue. No airdate yet, but will be worth the wait. It could be our best season. For sure our craziest,” he posted.
Yesterday, the official Twitter account of The Boys offered a few nuggets about Season 4 including the following.
- Season 4 takes place “about a month” after the events of the Gen V season finale.
- Butcher knows about the virus.
- Homelander will stand trial for lasering a Starlighter’s head off. Vought even made a hashtag for the occasion: #HomeFree
- The events of The Boys Season 4 will lead into Gen V Season 2.
