KSiteTV’s Craig Byrne reviews two new DVD releases of classic Doctor Who stories.

Last month, BBC Video released three more classic Doctor Who stories to DVD – one from the Tom Baker era of the series, and the other two being the only Doctor Who episodes to feature the “Kamelion” character. The three serials released were The Creature From The Pit, The King’s Demons, and Planet of Fire.

As covered here on KSiteTV recently, BBC Video released several classic Doctor Who stories in one big swoop on July 10, and we’re finally around time to review the last two of them.

On July 6, Warner Home Video released not one, not two, but four DVD sets worth of classic Doctor Who. They seem to be set on releasing all of the episodes of the original series, and I truly appreciate that.

Instead of reviewing all four sets at once, I am going to start with one of the four – “Underworld,” the Doctor Who serial that aired between January 7-28, 1978. The story stars Tom Baker as the fourth Doctor with Louise Jameson as Leela, his companion.
