Much like the May 15 season finale episode of Arrow, the May 15 season finale of The CW’s Supernatural goes by the title of “Sacrifice.” The network has now released a bunch of images to promote it; but first, here’s an official description:
WHAT MUST SAM, DEAN AND CASTIEL SACRIFICE TO FOREVER SEAL HELL? — With Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) poised to undo all the good they’ve ever done as hunters, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) find themselves cornered. But with Kevin’s (guest star Osric Chau) help, the Winchester brothers bound into one last play against The Demon King. Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) initiates a plan with Castiel (Misha Collins) to take on Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) and the bureaucracy of Heaven. Alaina Huffman and Kim Rhodes also guest star. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver (#823).

Wow, 18 billion pictures of angels and only a couple of Sam and Dean. What the eff has happened to this show?
Awesome, can’t wait for this episode! I’m loving Metatron so far, he seems like a great angel. I like how they introduce new characters to the show, it makes the show better! Supernatural without side characters would end after 5 seasons because the story would stagnate too much. :)
In reply to Kris it’s probably because the trial is more important to not show because they don’t want us to see what it is whereas we know that Cas and Metatron team up against Naomi.
Either way I’m super excited for this episode! :) Hope Cas works with the boys too!
Wow… sounds very interesting. I have to say though that I’m hoping that Sam and Dean’s tasks aren’t totally separate from Castiel’s story arc. I like it best when the three of them are working together towards a common goal.
Whatever happens, I’m still intrigued with Metatron and hoping that Kevin doesn’t die as he’s really won my affections lately. Also hoping that Sam and Dean feels don’t kill me! But most of all I’m just happy that my favorite angel, my favorite character, is going to be in the episode! For me there is no such thing as too much Cas.
I don’t trust Metatron. Something is really off about him. I’m scared Cas would make another mistake and Dean would be really mad (he’s already angry enough). It might be like The Man Who Would Be King all over agin and my heart is going to break for everyone.
Man I love Cas if he ever truely dose die that’s when I know the show has just reached it’s end.. And is sadly gonna be over afew episodes after Cas die’s. & I Love this show and Cas I don’t ever want to lose ether or see them END :( .. I would love to see this show make HISTORY and be like the first TV series to become a never ending show somthing like DAYS OF OUR LIVES & THE YOUNG AND THE RESLICE shows like that were they keep going on and branching forward that would be KOOL just being the first TV series and NETWORK to do that the hype wolud more than pay for the first two years of filming.. But that’s just wishful thinking LoL… But I Bet people would love that idea and it would make MILLIONS
