James Hibberd at EW has revealed that actress Liane Balaban (Alphas, NCIS: LA) has been cast for Supernatural Season 8 as a new love interest for Sam Winchester named “Amelia.”
Yep, last year we got an Amy Pond, and now we have an Amelia. Sorry, Doctor Who on the brain.
Supernatural will have a presence at this year’s Comic-Con, where we will surely be learning more about Season 8, which brings the brothers back from Friday purgatory straight on to Wednesdays at 9 following the CW’s new Green Arrow series Arrow.
