Jensen Ackles Gets Twitter

Normally it might not be news when a celebrity puts themselves on Twitter, but when it comes to the last big Supernatural holdout, in a world where Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and Jim Beaver already have huge feeds, it’s a big deal when Jensen Ackles finally gets onto that social media experience.

Ackles, whose other credits include Smallville and Dawson’s Creek, finally bit the bullet and started a feed today (August 24), tying in with the Supernatural convention currently happening in Vancouver. Already within the first hour, Ackles has over 100,000 followers.

Here’s Jensen’s first tweet, which has already been shared around 20,000 times and favorited nearly 25,000:
