    Stitchers Sneak Peeks: “Mind Palace”

Once she found out that the purpose of stitching was to reach and eventually save her mother, Kirsten was given an extra source of motivation in which to draw upon. Previously, she wanted to keep the team together because of how close they’ve grown and how they’re her first real social connections, but now they’re the key to her receiving the answers about her past that she’s been searching for. However, a motivated Kirsten isn’t exactly a patient Kirsten, so while she knows that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, that there’s a chance she could find the peace that’s been missing in her life, that’s not stopping her from wanting to pick up the pace.

On the next episode of Stitchers, Kirsten approaches Camille in hopes of getting some help in further mapping the brain. The point of stitching is that the team will fully map the human brain and gain enough understanding to stitch into Jacqueline’s mind, but for as much progress as the team has made in the short time they’ve been together, there are still holes in their knowledge of the human mind’s pathways. Kirsten and Camille doing work outside the office would speed up the team’s progress and get them that much closer to being able to stitch into the former’s mother; however, them going behind the back of Maggie and not bringing Cameron and Linus into the fold could come back to bite them. While it’s understandable that Kirsten is antsy now that she knows the grand purpose of stitching, if something goes wrong as a result of her overtime or if Maggie isn’t happy that she didn’t provide authorization for work outside the office, she puts the chances of reaching her mother, as well as the entire stitching program itself, at risk.

Elsewhere on Stitchers, Kirsten stitches into the mind of a MI6 agent and finds that he’s locked his memories away using visual codes, while Linus and Camille go on a double date as friends.

Stitchers airs Mondays at 9:00 on Freeform. You can check out photos from the next episode here.

Will Kirsten come to regret going rogue on the team’s brain mapping? Should Cameron let Camille pilot the stitches while he deals with his yips? Though they’re supportive of one another moving on, how will Linus and Camille handle seeing the other on a date with someone who isn’t them?
