Crackle has announced that crime thriller StartUp has been renewed for a third season.
“Thanks to Ben Ketai for his vision and to our stellar ensemble cast — Martin, Adam, Ron, Edi, Otmara and Addison — whose tremendous performances gave this series the kind of weight and edge that viewers have come to expect from a Crackle original,” said Eric Berger, GM of Crackle and EVP and Chief Digital Officer at Sony Pictures Television Networks. “We are excited to continue the story in season three and expect that Ben and company will take us on another entertaining and wild ride.”
From Ben Ketai (30 Days of Night: Dark Days), StartUp currently ranks as the #1 title on Sony’s streaming service, with the most recent season focusing on Izzy Morales (Otmara Marrero), Ronald Dacey (Edi Gathegi), and Nick Talman (Adam Brody) launching a darknet prototype that grows beyond their expectations and soon puts them in danger.
In addition to Marrero, Gathegi, and Brody, StartUp stars Martin Freeman (Sherlock), Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy), and Addison Timlin (Californication).
Season three of StartUp will premiere 2018 on Crackle.
