The Season 3 finale of Sleepy Hollow airs tonight (April 8) at 8PM ET/PT on FOX. Here’s how the network describes it:
After a startling discovery, Abbie and Crane realize what they must do in order to make Pandora’s box complete again. Meanwhile, the team works tirelessly to stop The Hidden One, before he destroys all of humanity. Can the Witnesses succeed with the fate of the world in their hands once again? Find out in the all-new “Ragnarok” season finale episode of SLEEPY HOLLOW airing Friday, April 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (SLH-318) (TV-14 L, V)
Below, you can find some preview images.
Is this the final episode? Sleepy Hollow has not yet been renewed for a fourth season, but if we had to make a bet, we’d assume it will be back for Season 4, as FOX owns the series and has a lot of slots to fill after the end of American Idol. In any event, we should know within the next few weeks.

Keep it going. It cannot end on the front porch. The story line can now include the father, Pandora returning and you can’t leave out Abbie Mills and Crane’s unspoken love.
I continue to LOVE this show and would be horribly disappointed if it ended like this. There are places it can go, beyond the traditional direction of the show. Fans would be open to that, as long as a strong group of cast members remains.
I envisioned Ichabod pursuing the information given to him by Mr. Mills. If there is another of the bloodline (of Grace Dixon, I assume) who will “inherit” Abbie’s spirit, I thought she might strongly resemble Abbie, thus allowing Nicole to continue, but unfettered by the previous persona.
I’m one of those fans who has been enthralled with the deep emotional tie between the leads. It has been a kind of love seldom seen in fiction, these days, and the portrayal has been truly impressive, beyond the yakking and sweating–ho-hum–that we’re usually subjected to.
What I DON’T like, however, is the fact that, particularly in the latter part of the season, Ichabod’s love for Abbie has been more pronounced–which was lovely and satisfying– while she seems to have withdrawn from him, looking uncomfortable when others mentioned his obvious feelings towards her. What th’…? Even as she perceived his grief, she never expressed–nor did anyone for her–love for Crane. I was left with a feeling of being cheated in my loyal investment in the show.
