Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hits the 100 episode mark tonight on ABC, and with that milestone will surely come some ghosts of the past while riding toward the future. It is the first Marvel show in the modern era to hit 100 episodes, and it all started as a show that would bring movie fan favorite Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) into our homes every week through television.
A few weeks back, we were able to speak with cast members past and present about this big event as they all celebrated the big 1-0-0. With a Marvel show being a Marvel show, of course they wouldn’t reveal too much, though we did get a few hints. Expect to see series stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain de Caestecker, Henry Simmons, and Natalia Cordova-Buckley alongside past favorites including Brett Dalton and J. August Richards. If that’s not enough, we also have Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb!
“It feels amazing,” Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson) said about hitting such an important milestone. “I’m really proud of my cast and the writers. It’s a huge accomplishment these days to have 100 episodes. We’re proud survivors.”
