ABC has become the first broadcast network to set its summer schedule. Things kick off on Monday, May 6th with a Bachelorette reunion that warms the 8:00 – 10:00 slot for the season premiere of The Bachelorette on May 13th. This season will see Hannah Brown, who placed 7th in Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, looking for love on national television.
Agents of SHIELD returns for its sixth season Friday, May 10th, where it will be joined by new episodes of What Would You Do?. SHIELD is already renewed for a seventh season.
ABC’s Sunday game show night holds for another season, with June 9th seeing the premieres of Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid, and To Tell the Truth. Game shows also dominate on Wednesdays, as newbies Press Your Luck and Card Sharks are joined by Match Game, the latter with episodes remaining following a midseason run.
Monday, June 17th finds Eva Longoria-produced soap Grand Hotel premiering post-Bachelorette, the second of three scripted shows ABC is premiering this summer. The third, Poppy Montgomery-starring Reef Break, is set to premiere Thursday, June 20th at 10:00, where it will be preceded by newbies Holey Moley, a mini golf competition executive produced by NBA star Steph Curry, and cooking competition Family Food Fight, which pits eight families against each other for a $100,000 prize.
