Two more actors have been announced for ABC Family’s upcoming Shadowhunters series, based on the Mortal Instruments books.
Alberto Rosende, whose credits include an episode of Blue Bloods, will be playing Simon Lewis, best friend of the series’ main character Clary Fray. Simon was played by Robert Sheehan in the Mortal Instruments: City of Bones film.
Emeraude Toubia is best known for several Spanish-language series, and she will be playing Shadowhunter Isabelle Lightwood, who is described as “an exotic-looking, model-beautiful Shadowhunter. A trained fighter who can kick-ass in high-heels, Isabelle’s one weakness is her choice in men – always going for the bad boy.” Jemima West played the character in the movie.
Shadowhunters will be filming later this year.
