Freeform has revealed that Modern Family star Sarah Hyland has been tapped to play an iteration of the infamous Seelie Queen on two upcoming episodes of Shadowhunters. Hyland’s first appearance on the show will be August 7th.
But there’s a ways to go before Shadowhunters gets to meet its Seelie Queen. The next episode of the series, airing July 24th, finds everyone on the hunt for the Mortal Mirror, which, if it falls into the wrong hands, could spell trouble for Jace and Clary. Meanwhile, Clary comes to realize that Jonathan might be closer than she realizes, Isabelle struggles with the fact that Max is getting older, and Maia attempts to let her guard down around Simon.
In addition to her role on the ABC comedy, Hyland has appeared on the likes of Dimension 404, Hot in Cleveland, and Childrens Hospital.
