Pop TV has announced premiere dates for a trio of shows airing this fall.
Season two of horror drama Wolf Creek is set to premiere Sunday, October 21st at 10:00, with the first season available on the new Pop Now app beginning September 1st. Additionally, all six episodes of season two will be made available on Pop Now following the second season premiere. Based on the film series of the same name, Wolf Creek centers on serial killer Mick Taylor as he terrorizes tourists in the Australian outback.
British thriller Clique will make its American premiere Wednesday, November 7th at 10:00, with the premiere featuring two back-to-back episodes. Like with Wolf Creek, once the season premiere of Clique airs on television, each of its six episodes will launch on Pop Now. From Jess Brittain (Skins), Clique follows childhood best friends who go to the same college and find themselves at odds over the seductive world of lavish parties and an elite clique of alpha girls who hold a deadly secret.
The Schitt’s Creek Christmas special, meanwhile, is slated to premiere Wednesday, December 19th at 8:00. The series is set to return for its upcoming fifth season in early 2019.
Wolf Creek, Clique, and Schitt’s Creek join a scripted slate for Pop TV that includes Swedish Dicks (premiering July 26th) and Hollywood Darlings. It’s as yet unclear whether this new strategy of binge releasing their programming will continue into 2019, though Pop Now features several of their current and library series.
Set to arrive in the first quarter of 2019 are Anna Paquin public relations drama Flacked and the second season of Clique, with small town comedy Florida Girls going into production this fall.
