The first season of Canadian import Saving Hope aired on NBC two years ago; NBC didn’t renew the series, but it continued to air in Canada.
Now, that series that keeps Elijah out of The Originals for a few episodes a year is coming back to the U.S., as revealed by TVLine today.
TVLine has revealed that the first two seasons of Saving Hope, as well as the current 18-episode third season, will be airing on the ION network. ION has picked up the “exclusive U.S. television rights” to the show.
Saving Hope stars Erica Durance (Smallville) with The Originals’ Daniel Gillies and Stargate’s Michael Shanks. The show is a hospital drama with romantic elements, as well as a unique twist.

Finally! Haven’t seen it since season 1. Thought I’d never get to continue unless I bought all the DVDs.
