The new Erica Durance-Michael Shanks medical drama Saving Hope, which will be on Canada’s CTV, has found a home in the United States.
Deadline.com has revealed that NBC is “in negotiations” to air Saving Hope in the Summer of 2012. Since the negotiation news got this far we’re assuming that it’s bound to end up happening.
The show has a 13-episode order and production beyond the pilot is expected to begin in March.
In addition to Durance and Shanks, the series will have another fan favorite in Daniel Gillies (The Vampire Diaries’ Elijah).

I AM GLAD TO READ THAT NBC WILL AIR SAVING SAVING HOPE DURING THE SUMMER. IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN WATCHING SUMMER RERUN OR REALITY SHOW. GOOD LUCK TO SAVING HOPE THAT IT WILL MADE TO THE SECOND SEASON
I am a big fan of Michael Shanks and I live in New York and I would Love to see him in another role besides Stargate SG1 and Under the Mistlletoe. He is sush a good actor and very cute.
