The Canadian-produced drama Saving Hope is coming to NBC in June, and today, NBC released some official images which we know a lot of people have been waiting for!

“Saving Hope” is a new, hour-long original drama series that stars Erica Durance (“Smallville”), Michael Shanks (“Stargate Atlantis”), Daniel Gillies (“The Vampire Diaries”), Huse Madhavji (“Combat Hospital,” “Star!” “Daily”), Julia Taylor-Ross (“Rookie Blue”) and Kristopher Turner (“Rookie Blue,” “The Listener”). The series is from acclaimed Gemini Award-winning producers Ilana Frank and David Wellington (“The Eleventh Hour,” “Would Be Kings,” “Rookie Blue”).
In “Saving Hope,” when charismatic Chief of Surgery Charlie Harris (Shanks) at Hope-Zion Hospital ends up in a coma, he leaves the hospital in chaos — and his fiancée and fellow surgeon, Alex Reid (Durance), in a state of shock. Along with newly arrived star surgeon, Joel Goran (Gillies), Reid races to save Harris’ life. As the action unfolds, the comatose Harris explores the hospital halls in “spirit” form, not sure if he’s a ghost or a figment of his own imagination. Reid, along with her fellow doctors, press on to save his life and those of their other patients as they deal with the complicated and courageous decisions that are made in their daily struggle to keep hope alive.

There is just no way Tom Welling doesn’t do a guest spot on this series…
I just hope the show is good. As much as I love Erica (SO MUCH), my watching for her alone isn’t going to last long if I can’t get into the show itself.
Tom Welling took a break to get away from Smallville so should never be a guest at Saving H. In the cast are all Canadians , are not as generous Americans . Tom would put in the shadows with his physical presence on little Daniel G.
Ssving-hope it gets to the third season the players are not extraordinary not have charisma .Daniel is not hot!
TOM WELLING will back on tv he is very selective.Tom should not go to the host because Saving Hope to work with new colleagues!

Sonia you are so right. Don’t expect Tom Welling to make an appearance when Canadian shows don’t particularly care for americans on their shows.

I personally don’t care when or if Tom Welling appears on TV again. I am sure that the reason he hasn’t had a job since Smallville is because hes being “selective”.

Looking forward to Saving Hope. Erica and Michael are both great actors. I just hope NBC actually gives Saving Hope a chance to establish an audience. Most shows it seems are canceled within the first few episodes. So, NBC please give it a whole season not just a month!
I would LOVE to see Tom Welling on screen on anything again!
