Only days after many of us thought a TV project based on Neil Gaiman’s Sandman comic book series was gone for good, DC Entertainment’s Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns has Tweeted that that is not the case.
“Correction to world: The Sandman is AWAKE! :) Psyched to be working with @neilhimself on developing one of the greatest series ever!” Johns tweeted this afternoon. @neilhimself is, of course, Neil Gaiman.
“Sandman in any form – comics to live action – doesn’t work without [Gaiman],” Johns added.
No mention was made of Supernatural’s Eric Kripke, who was developing the project; or The CW, the network that it was being pitched for.
