The CW has released “poster”-like key art to promote their upcoming Archie Comics-based series Riverdale.
The show premieres Thursday, January 26 at 9PM ET/PT on the network. We’ve seen the first four episodes and the show is quickly addictive, updating the Archie Comics classics in new and exciting ways. Look for interviews from the Riverdale set here on KSiteTV in the coming weeks.
The poster/key art features some faces and names you will definitely come to know in the next few months: In the front we have Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, and KJ Apa as Archie Andrews. In the window we see Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, and Madelaine Petsch as the deliciously snarky Cheryl Blossom. The setting of the photo is, of course, Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe, a staple of the Archie comics.
Also seen in this key art is a new promotional slogan – “A Great Place To Get Away With It All.” Who exactly is going to get away with the murder of [REDACTED]? Or will they? Guess we will all have to wait until the show premieres in January to find out!
