If you’re on the East Coast of the United States, you probably just finished watching the series finale of Riverdale and saw where many of your favorite characters ended up. But that’s not all! The episode as aired on The CW August 23 had several scenes that were cut for time — but the network will be releasing an “extended cut” of the finale tomorrow (August 24) on CWTV.com and The CW app. At the time of this writing, we don’t know if the extended version of “Goodbye, Riverdale” will be on Netflix.
Yes, this means what you think it does: It’s time to fire up The CW app and sit through about 2 dozen ForHers advertisements starring Kristen Bell. But, trust us, it’s worth it, as the extended cut reveals the fates of several Riverdale favorites who weren’t addressed in the series finale. Additionally, we get to revisit some great Riverdale locations as well in this extended cut.
Photos from “Goodbye, Riverdale” can be seen below. We’re going to miss this “story about a town,” but at least there’s some more coming for the longtime fans of the series.
